Blame Hobby or Dirty Human Activity

Blame our Hobby: All the key holders in this aquarium industry, from fishermen to an importer to a retailer or even an aquarium keeper know the importance of nature, it is our lifeline. Without nature, our industry doesn’t exist. All the aquarium hobbyist in the world are estimated less than 1 per cent of the global population which is 780 cr (7.8 bn). Land on Earth is about 29 per cent and we still have miles and miles of land which is clean and green than can less than 1 per cent of the whole population assuming the whole industry is saltwater can destroy the 71 per cent of earth and bring a global climate change. WAKE UP look around you, chances are happening and humans are responsible for it. Our industry is ever-changing we are now successfully breeding, farming fish and corals so the industry impact compared to world population on the change is negligible.

The beauty of nature is such that as much we destroy, nature will level its self and that is a change for us. Whatever junk we throw on the 29 per cent on the land that would ultimately lead to the other part. Human’s are junk creates every day we destroy nature and that happens when we use our cars, use ac, use paper. How human’s are polluting the nature is an essay in itself, the underlining is every human has his hand dirty for the changes. Human is greedy in nature and for our greed, we would do the unthinkable.

On the other hand, our industry faces a lot of difficulties when this topic is tabled out, from ban to regulations, what is being cultivated in one part of the world, the part is facing a ban on the trade. In our industry, we are the last group of people who would who want these creatures to vanish from the planet. Our industry is doing everything possible to conserve the environment but for this to work, we need the whole population of 7.8 billion to act as one.

Human nature is such that blame game is the easiest way out. Just blame the industry, blame the factories, blame the fishermen, blame the government for not doing their part for saving the planet. Hey, all these are made and comprises humans we build them for our convince. This is our mess up we have to clean it. We want the 7.8 billion people to be the change and not witness the change. Nature at any time can change the ration of 29:71. We all must act in the best interest and the best part is we just have to do small steps like not throw plastic in the open, switch off the electricity when not in use, use public transport when available. All these small activities are the change that we can bring.

I can in the end only say we live in it and don’t blame the hobby, we love it, then why can’t we conserve it.
