Vancouver Aquarium invite public to watch walrus research project

The walrus is a large marine mammal with a discontinuous distribution about the North Pole in the Arctic Ocean and subarctic seas of the Northern Hemisphere. The walrus is the only living species in the family Odobenidae and genus Odobenus. The Stanley Park institution, which shut down its dolphin and porpoise exhibits earlier this year after battles with animal-rights activists, unveiled its Research Outpost exhibit. The new exhibit features sea lions and fur seals in addition to the two young walruses. All animals are part of the aquarium’s research program. According to IUNC redlist walrus are marked as Vulnerable.

When I first started saltwater aquarium it just grew on me and I knew that had to do more in this hobby. I am a Post-Grad in Business Administration have worked with Coldstar Logistics, Amazon and Jindal's before jumping completely in the ocean. Other than aquarium hobby I have my interests in travel, digital games and consumer web technology.
